About US

MUSOC is the University of Canterbury Musical Theatre Society Incorporated

We're a theatre production company with fifty years of experience performing on the stage. In addition to our major productions, we also run social events and Cabaret performances throughout the year. Technically speaking, we're affiliated to the UCSA as a not-for-profit incorporated society. The Club has a proud history of performing original musicals in addition to internationally-acclaimed shows.

We encourage people to try all aspects of musical theatre: performing on stage, the band, production/event management, technical and backstage work, and even writing and staging their own musicals.
